Magento Commerce, the leading provider of open omnichannel innovation, announced that Peter Sheldon has joined the company as head of strategy.
Peter joins Magento Commerce from Forrester Research where he served as vice president & principal analyst leading commerce technology research, including B2C and B2B eCommerce platforms, mobile commerce solutions, digital in-store technologies, and digital commerce.

Peter brings over 15 years of experience working within an ecosystem of eCommerce technologies. Most recently Peter led Forrester’s syndicated research of enterprise commerce technology suites, including B2C and B2B eCommerce and mCommerce, web content management, omnichannel order management, product information management and subscription billing platforms as well as authoring many leading research reports on omnichannel retail strategy. Prior to Forrester, Peter held both product management and product marketing positions at eCommerce platform vendor Elastic Path. He also worked as a senior business analyst at JP Morgan and Ford Motor Company, where he started his career in eCommerce developing a direct online channel for new vehicle sales in the UK.
